Hotel Fis, Strbske Pleso

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The room was a bit small and lacked a balcony, but being on the ground floor provided some privacy for activities. The room was overheated, but the hotel promptly resolved the issue. If the room didn't allow pets, it might not be the best value for money.

The hotel room was clean but tiny with new furniture; however, it was quite small, had no balcony, and was located on the ground floor. If the room wasn't pet-friendly, it wouldn't be worth the money. The service was friendly, despite the staff not speaking Slovakian. The location was excellent, although the breakfast was basic for the hotel's size. The dining experience opened late, which was inconvenient for mountaineering activities. The facilities were more than enough and offered a great variety. In the dining area, the smoked fish was a standout.

The rooms, although a bit smelly with worn decorative cushions, were ultimately lovely and comfortable, and the delicious à la carte breakfast added to the enjoyment. The service was professional, but I was disappointed that early check-in wasn't an option for a mountaineering hotel. The location was stunning with ski jump views and easy access to the slopes, although dining options for those with pets were limited to the lobby. The dining experience varied from amazing to average, but the gyu-don dishes were a hit. As for the facilities, they were adequate, but there was room for improvement in certain areas.

The rooms, though furnished with aged decor, were clean and provided a comfy bed, although the proximity to a noisy stairway could be bothersome at times. The staff, despite our language barrier, were incredibly warm and professional, making our experience very welcoming. The hotel's location was ideal for nature lovers and adventure seekers, being close to both ski lifts and mountain paths. The dining experience, with its delicious offerings and great coffee, was a highlight amidst the picturesque views of the ski jumps and mountains.

My stay at the hotel was delightful! The room was lovely and comfortable, with the added bonus of a hot air drying machine for my sweaty ski boots. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, offering a wide range of services such as housekeeping, ski equipment hire, and even pet amenities. The location was perfect for skiing, right at the trailhead to Solisko, and the dining experience, while average, was more than enough to satisfy my hunger. Overall, a great choice for a ski trip!
